Question: How does texting from a cell to update one’s twitter account work?
Since I don’t text often, I have the 250 txt per month plan with att. If I submit my cell # to Twitter, will I be able to txt a tweet to Twitter without getting any updates from other people. Can I just tweet but not have twitter txt me with updates the people I follow post? Will the txt still count as part of my plan or will it be a different charge? Hope my questions are clear.

Yes, you can text a tweet to Twitter without getting updates from those you are following. When you select to follow someone, make sure you select “Device Updates: Off”.
This should prevent you from receiving updates via text, but should allow you to send in your personal update via text.

And the text should be apart of your plan.

Question: Will facebook and the police track down someone who made a fake facebook account?
My friend had a facebook account and then deactivated it and 2 days later we found out that someone made a fake account of him. HIs mom messaged the person who faked the account and the person just deactivated their account. My friend’s mom said in the message that she reported the fake account to facebook and the police but has not done it yet. If she does it, will the police get involved and track the person’s IP Address down?

Yes they will track them down. We had a lecture about this kind of stuff in school this year. All you have to do is report what happened, and the police will do their best to help you.
We have those kinds of incidents all over the country as well.

People do it either for “fun”, or out of anger with the victim.

You better watch out for this kind of stuff.

Question: How do I link my twitter account to facebook ?
I want to link my twitter account to my facebook. I want other people to see when on facebook what I write on twitter. I went to Facebook ‘Account setting’ and then to link account but didn’t see twitter but I saw Yahoo, Google, my space and Verisign PIP…I need help how to link it!

Hi, you can link your twitter account in facebook by searching “Twitter Application” on the search box of facebook and click the “Go to Application” and you will need to log-in to your twitter to allow the linking of twitter into facebook. Upon successful linking, your friends in facebook can read your tweets. Be noticed that replies (which contain @) and RT’s will not be visible in your facebook wall.
