Question: How do you turn Twitter updates for your phone on and off for individual users?
I know how to turn off overall twitter updates for my phone but I dont know how to turn on/off updates for a specific user on their site. Help please!

Question: How do I stop twitter from sending updates to my phone?
I keep getting twitter updates on my phone. I removed the people following me that i keep getting them from, removed my number from the mobile page in my settings. I emailed twitter about it. And i still keep getting them. Is there any solution besides deleting my account and having to start over.

There might an update that you need to turn off using your phone. Or reset the setting on your phone.

Question: Why is my twitter updates showing on my Yahoo Messenger when they are not linked together?
I already checked Yahoo Messenger and it’s showing that Twitter is not linked to my Yahoo Messenger but it still showing all my updates from twitter. I want my twitter updates to stay with my twitter followers. And I don’t recall linking them in the first place. Help please.

It may be that you are connected to Twitter through your Pulse page.

Here is how to stop these updates:

TO STOP YOUR OWN UPDATES APPEARING:

Click on “Messenger” in the top left hand corner of the Messenger Pane.

Click on “Manage Updates I Broadcast”.

This will take you to your Profile page. (Now called Pulse).

UNTICK the box “Share my Updates”.

Click on “Save” at the bottom of the page.

You can also choose which Updates you want to share from your Pulse page. To do this, click on the “Settings” tab. Then click on “Manage Updates” under “Updates”. If you want to share some of them, TICK the box “Share my Updates”. Choose the ones you want to share and then click on “Save” at the bottom of the page.

Please note that these updates sometimes take a couple of days to clear.
